Part 3: POST PROCESSING

I manipulate photos a lot — what I do with my renderings is no different.

If you have seen my Interior Photoshop Tutorial, you’d know the extent of editing that I can do. However, I usually tone down my post-processing when it comes to my Vray renders. Why would I cover up with Photoshop the illumination and material settings I tried to perfect for hours? Definitely a few basic adjustments will do. With that, I assure you, you can do the following steps in five minutes or so. :)
By the way, post processing is a matter a taste. You don’t have to do all the steps and you may already stop at any point. Preferably, just pick up a few tips and try to experiment on your own . Again, the following are the most basic of the basic steps so some of you may already know most of it.

The photo above shows my FINAL IMAGE – rendered and post-processed. What do you think?

I added in a few effects like light leaks and lens flares but those are just my personal preferences. You may or may not do the same. I have been experimenting with light leaks lately, an attempt to imitate (film) photography. Maybe I can tell you more about it next time. For now, how about some of your thoughts?
